It’s a great time for Blessed Trinity! Immediately following the inspirational diocesan-wide celebration of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at Blessed Trinity on January 18th, we learned that we have been chosen as the site for Buffalo Mass Mob IX!! Watch this space for more fun details as they become available, and plan to join us for worship on March 22nd.
For those of you who attended Mass Mob VIII at St. Casimir, you will surely want to follow-up with Mass Mob IX. Like St. Casimir, the architect for Blessed Trinity was also Chester Oakley (along with Albert Schallmo) . Both buildings were under construction at the same time, St. Casimir being completed in 1926 and Blessed Trinity in 1928. The latter is considered the purest replication of 12th century Lombard-Romanesque architecture in the United States. “celebrating community through music.”
Sunday, March 29, 2015 at 3:00 p.m.

The Camerata di Sant’ Antonio, under the direction of Christopher Weber, presents Mozart Noir celebrating the music of gifted Black Composers. Selections will include the U.S. premier of the Haitian Dance Suite by Samuel Coleridge Taylor (aka the “Black Mahler”), and works of the Chevalier de Saint George (known as the “Mozart noir”), whose music inspired the young Wolfgang Amadeus and made music history.
From 2:15-2:45 p.m., church docents will provide concert-goers with tours of this Buffalo Landmark, considered to be the purest replication of Lombard-Romanesque Architecture in the United States. There will also be a post-concert reception in the parish hall, courtesy of the Amberleigh Retirement Community at Williamsville.
Tickets for the concert are $17 for adults and available at the door. Admission is free to children 14 and under when accompanied by an adult or high school students with valid school identification.

Sunday, January 11, 3:00 p.m. at Blessed Trinity
Friday, January 16, 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Pompeii
Did you ever enjoy a Christmas present so much that you wanted to pass it on, even after the holiday season? That’s just what our musical mixologist, Nick DelBello, and his colleague, Peter Gonciarz, had in mind when they concocted Christmas Re-Gifted. The combined choirs of Blessed Trinity and Our Lady of Pompeii, conducted and accompanied by Messers. DelBello and Gonciarz, invite you to share a post-holiday concert featuring some of the choral favorites they worked so hard to perfect for Christmas. And in the spirit of the gift that keeps on giving, there will be two opportunities for you to enjoy this musical finale: Sunday, January 11, here at Blessed Trinity Church, and again on Friday, January 16, at Our Lady of Pompeii Church.
Blessed Trinity, located at 317 Leroy Avenue in Buffalo, is wheelchair accessible with secured off-street parking. Our Lady of Pompeii is located at 158 Lavarack Avenue in Lancaster.
