Rebuilding the Bridge: Answering God’s Call

On Sunday, January 18, 2015, at 10:30 a. m., the Catholic Churches of Central Buffalo Vicariate will join in a Diocesan Mass Celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr. here at Blessed Trinity. “Rebuilding the Bridge: Answering God’s Call” is the theme of the celebration with Principal Celebrant Bishop Richard Malone and Guest Homilist Rev. Brother Henry Fulmer, OFM, from St. Joseph Church in the Diocese of Charleston, SC.
An offertory collection at the Mass will be used to fund the Martin Luther King Scholarship Fund, as will proceeds from a basket raffle at the reception following the Mass. The Fund was established by the African American Commission of the Buffalo Diocese to award scholarships to students of color attending Catholic schools. Parishioners are asked to donate theme baskets for the raffle. Someone will be in St. Charles Hall to receive them prior to the 10:30 p.m. Mass.
