Parish Council

The Council is a group of responsible and dedicated clergy, religious and laity working for the betterment of the parish and greater community as well as the universal Church. It consists of representatives of main parish organizations, trustees, pastoral staff, and representatives elected by the congregation for three-year terms. The Council acts as an Advisory Group to the Pastor and helps to guide the members of the parish in carrying out their ministry in the parish and the community it serves. The Council has four committees: Buildings and Properties, Finance, Spiritual Life and Community Life. Each committee is chaired by a member of the Council, with participation from interested members of the congregation.

Blessed Trinity Holy Name Society

The Holy Name Society began in the parish in June of 1909. The purpose of the Holy Name Society is to give honor to the Holy Name of Jesus Christ. Its members promote devotion to the Holy Name of Jesus and assist each other to grow in holiness. For more than one hundred years, the men of our Society have also used their time and talents to raise funds for many worthwhile parish projects. Although our numbers are considerably less than they were in the early years, we continue to serve our parish and our God. We invite and encourage any Catholic man to join our Society.

The Ladies Sodality

The Ladies Sodality of Blessed Trinity (“The Sodality”) is our oldest parish organization, having come into existence as The Women’s Sodality shortly after the formation of the parish in 1906. Membership is open to any woman of the parish. The Sodality is an “arm” of the parish community dedicated to meeting its religious, social, emotional and financial needs. Members contribute to life of the parish by hosting social events and fundraisers, supporting community social justice efforts and providing opportunities for women to share their emotional strengths and faith experiences and increase their knowledge of the Catholic faith. The organization meets monthly from September through December and March through June. A Sodality officer is designated to serve as an appointed member of The Parish Council. If you are interested in joining The Sodality, please click HERE and leave your contact information for the membership vice president.

Bingo

Bingo is the primary fundraising activity of the parish and is held in St. Charles Hall from 8:00 - 10:00 PM every Thursday and Saturday evening (except on December 24/25 and during Holy Week). Volunteers contribute several hours each week throughout the year to make this major source of financial support for the parish possible. Training is required for volunteers and is provided.
