Christmas Eve Mass at 10:00 p.m.
Choir Preludes begin at 9:30 p.m.
We are announcing a important change to our schedule of Christmas services.
For the first time, our traditional Midnight Mass will be replaced by a 10 p.m. service.
As in the past, the choir will begin singing one half hour before the Mass on Christmas Eve.
Mass on Christmas Day will be at 10:00 a.m.

The Vocális Chamber Choir opens our season with texts in tribute to music – its beauty, power, meaning, and emotion. The ensemble of dedicated professionals, under the direction of James Burritt, will perform music of Vaughan Williams, Britten, Brahms, Lassus, McGlynn, Brubeck – and other surprises. Join Vocális and Blessed Trinity as we celebrate the greatest of all art forms! Tickets available at the door: $15 per person – $10 student.

The Freudig Singers, under the direction of Roland E. Martin, offer audible as well as edible holiday confections. Highlighted will be Samuel Scheidt’s Magnificat, which inserts German carols between portions of the text, as well as a delightful assortment of holiday favorites, old and new. The husband and wife duo of tenor Robert Zimmerman and soprano Amy Grable were such show stoppers when they opened our series last fall that we’ve asked them to return, this time for Valentine’s Day. Their Celebration of Love offerings of some of musical theater’s most cherished love songs and duets are sure to provide a sweet treat for your heart and soul. The Buffalo Brass Choir
The Buffalo Brass Choir, Blessed Trinity’s Ensemble-In-Residence, closes our season with a program of all-American works originally composed for brass ensemble. Highlights include “Fanfaria” by local composer Rob Deemer, and a solo performance by Timothy Smith, second trombone with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. The program concludes with Alfred Reed’s rousing “Symphony for Brass and Percussion.” Free Will Offering – Suggested Donation: $10.

B. T. Summer Fest

Live reggae music by Neville Francis and the Riddim Posse at Summer Fest.
We just don’t want to let go of summer, so please plan to join us on Monday, August 24, from 5:30-8 p.m. for our very own celebration: B. T. Summer Fest. Just listen for the Reggae music performed live by Neville Francis and the Riddim Posse and join the fun on the side lawn and in the church parking lot. Friends and neighbors are welcome. Summer Fest will also feature a food truck from R&R BBQ, door prizes and face painting. Menu includes BBQ (chicken, beef, or pork) for $5; sumptuous sides (potato salad, pasta salad, Cole slaw, or baked beans) for $3; drinks for $1.50 and free cookies and brownies. DO bring a “decorated lawn chair”; there’s a prize for the best!

Fifth Annual Sacred Sites Open House Weekend
Saturday, May 16, 2015 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Sunday, May 17, 2015 from 12:00 Noon – 2:00 p.m.
On May 16 and 17, Blessed Trinity will participate in the New York Landmarks Conservancy’s Fifth Annual Sacred Sites Open House Weekend, inviting the public to experience our house of worship as a repository of faith, art, and history. Members of our docent team will be on hand to explain the church’s unique features that make it the purest replication of Lombard-Romanesque architecture in the United States. You’ll be able to examine its handmade bricks set in a style dating back to the Middle Ages, learn about the elaborate display of medieval iconography on the terra cotta portico, and stand in awe at the more than 2,000 symbols summarizing Christian beliefs in ceramic tiles, paintings and sculpture.
Our site is wheelchair accessible; visitors are encouraged to bring cameras and binoculars.

The Buffalo Brass Choir in Concert at Blessed Trinity
On Sunday, May 24, Reflections on a Dance brings the concert season to a close as our resident ensemble, the Buffalo Brass Choir, under the direction of Nick DelBello, performs music inspired by the dance. Their repertoire will include Brahms’ Hungarian Dances, Ginastera’s Dances from Estancia and David Sampson’s imaginative Reflections on a Dance.
Blessed Trinity is wheelchair accessible, with secured off-street parking.
