Choir surprises oldest member with birthday sing-along at Bristol Village.
Members of the choir and Father Bob performed “on the road,” much to the surprise and delight of Helen Roddy Gray on the eve of her ninety-third birthday. Helen joined in singing a variety of hymns ranging from a favorite spiritual to traditional Latin. Following the sing-along, BT choristers enjoyed cupcakes and conversation with their veteran tenorette. Until confined to her assisted living facility by pandemic restrictions in March 2020, Helen regularly attended weekly choir practice and sang at Sunday Mass.
