Explore Buffalo™ is again featuring Blessed Trinity Church among its seasonal “Sacred Spaces” tours. On Sunday, December 29 at 12:30 PM, members of our docent team will be on hand to  explain the unique features of this replica of 12th century Lombard-Romanesque architecture, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. They are prepared to share plenty of facts and anecdotes designed to help guests appreciate this “Made in the U.S.A.” Landmark as a repository of faith, art, and history. (Weather permitting, there will also be a chance to examine the church’s handmade, unmolded bricks and examples of medieval iconography on the building’s facade). Click HERE to learn more and make reservations. Cost is $15 per person, $10 for Explorer passholders, $5 for students. Walk-ins are also welcome.

St. John Paul II Schola Cantorum

Following the tour, you are invited to enjoy the building’s acoustical embrace in the a cappella choral offerings of the St. John Paul II Schola Cantorum, as they present “Catholic Treasures of Advent and Christmas,” a concert of sacred choral masterpieces of the season from the Renaissance to the 21st century. The Schola Cantorum will perform works by Elgar, Byrd, Palestrina, Bach, Victoria, Gallus, LeJeune and others. Then get in on the act by staying for a post- concert sing-a-long of traditional Christmas Carols led by members of the Schola. No tickets are required, but a free-will offering will be taken.

Blessed Trinity is wheelchair accessible with off-street parking.
