Jack Curtin
Recipient of Lay Award of
St. Joseph the Worker

Lay Award of St. Joseph the Worker ~ Father Victor and our parishioners join in congratulating and acknowledging Jack Curtin who was Blessed Trinity’s 2017 recipient of the Lay Award of St. Joseph the Worker. The award was conferred by Bishop Malone at a Mass at St. Joseph’s Cathedral on Saturday, March 18. We pray that God continues to bless him abundantly and we look forward to celebrating with him at the upcoming Agape Feast on April 23.

Parish Agape Feast is April 23 ~ The Agape or Love Feast refers to a Christian fellowship meal recalling the meals Jesus shared with disciples during his ministry and expressing the koinonia (community, sharing, fellowship) enjoyed by the family of Christ. You are cordially invited to our parish family’s Love Feast on Sunday, April 23, beginning at 5pm in St. Charles Hall. It’s meant to be an informal evening of fellowship, including recognition of the stewardship of parishioners involved in various ministries. In the spirit of communal sharing, we are asking everyone who can to contribute a food item for the feast. To assure that we cover all the essentials, please indicate the type of food you plan to bring; for example, green salad, pasta dish, meat or vegetable casserole, dessert, etc., on the signup sheets at the side doors of the church. Please plan to join in celebrating the Easter season and the family of Christ at Blessed Trinity on April 23.

The next Bible Study meeting will be held Monday, April 17 at 7pm in St Charles Hall. Please prepare for discussion by reading: A Guide for the Study of Sacred Scripture, Jeremiah 29:11, and pages 6 – 25 from the book Genesis 1-11, God Makes a Start. You will find copies of the 12-page bible study guide on the tables at the side doors of the church or by Clicking HERE. Please contact Fr. Victor to obtain a copy of the book Genesis 1-11.  Make sure to bring your bible, the study guide, and Genesis 1-11 with you on April 17. For additional information please contact Althea Porter at 316-8395.
