Delegates to the National Jesuit Student Leadership Conference in Buffalo who donated their time and energy on June 27.
On Saturday, June 27, 2015, delegates to the National Jesuit Student Leadership Conference taking place in Buffalo included community service in their busy agenda. Participants in the conference represented Jesuit colleges nationwide, and we are grateful to the eleven young men and women who spent their morning cleaning the choir loft, pews, and floor of our church. Our prayerful thanks go out to Daniel Ortega from Canisius College; Conor Gaffney, Marty Kyler, and Stefan Peterson from Creighton University; Gonzaga University’s Carolyn Cartwright; Sarah Graupman, Libbie Engels, and Danielle Jow from Marquette University; and Mary Mikko, Karic Jones, and Artona’ Millhouse from the University of Detroit Mercy. We continue to express our appreciation to Joe Van Volkenberg and his Canisius Campus Ministry Program for always thinking of us and treasure our partnership with the local college.
