Presents
St. Mary of Magdala: Leading Us Closer to Jesus,
“Him whom my soul loves”
Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at 7:00 PM

Ms. Mullins presents an evening of reflection centered around the person and ministry of St. Mary of Magdala, including discussion of the misrepresentation of this saint throughout history, her contributions to the faith, and how we, as modern-day Christians, can follow her example of faith and action. This is the premier of the program, which was researched and created by Ms. Mullins at the request of the Ladies Sodality of Blessed Trinity. It will also feature her original musical compositions.

Blessed Trinity Church is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is known for the display of more than two-thousand Christian symbols in its art and architecture. A parish docent will identify Mary of Magdala’s appearances in that artwork, as well as symbols that speak to her misrepresentation in church history.

The program will conclude with fellowship and refreshments in St. Charles Hall, located behind the church.  The event is supported by The Foundation of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Buffalo and a free-will-offering will be taken.

Reservations are required. Please email Nancy Langer at nmlanger [at] gmail [dot] com or call or text her at 716-984-5146.
