Important News About Our Bingo Games ~ Several weeks ago we enhanced our bingo games with the introduction of a bingo camera, television monitors, and electronic verification. Now, due to the large Saturday Bonus Ball Jackpot and the corresponding increase in attendance, we have expanded our Saturday seating capacity by opening an additional room downstairs. It, too, is equipped with a television monitor so that downstairs bingo patrons will enjoy all the amenities that exist in the larger hall upstairs.

Rescheduled Meetings ~ The March meeting of the Parish Council has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 2, at 7:00 p.m. in St. Charles Hall, and the Ladies Sodality Meeting scheduled for March 23 has been cancelled. The Sodality’s next general membership meeting will be Sunday, April 27, in St. Charles Hall, immediately following 10 a.m. Mass.

Heart at work: Serving our neighbors in Jesus’ name ~ Help the family who fled their homeland consumed by civil war and violence before beginning a new life in Buffalo. Provide support to the single father whose child struggles in school. Be the spark of hope that allows a young woman to become educated and able to provide for her young children. Give to the Catholic Charities 2014 Appeal and join us in being “heart at work” for these and the tens of thousands of others who benefit from Catholic Charities’ 70 programs and services. As a faithful donor, you should have received our letter and card in the mail. If you haven’t already, please respond promptly with a generous gift – thank you! If you are a first time contributor, our parish Chair, Bob Heicklen, will gratefully accept your donation. Remember the lives you are touching with your contribution. The Appeal is in your hands. Find out more at http://www.ccwny.org or call 716-218-1400.

“The Word” ~ Early in March, we distributed the special Lenten Issue of The Word. There are extra copies in the ushers’ pew at the mid aisle of the church. We invite you to take copies for parish shut-ins, family members, and friends.
