Coffee Hour ~ The Ladies Sodality will host our January Coffee Hour on Sunday, January 19, immediately following the 10 o’clock Mass. Please join them in St. Charles Hall for warm conversation on a cold day.

Mass Honoring Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. ~ The Diocesan Celebration honoring Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. will take place Sunday, January 19, 2014 at Ss. Columba-Brigid at 2:00 p.m. Most Rev. Richard J. Malone will be the main celebrant; Rev. Chester P. Smith, SVD from the Diocese of Indiana will be the guest homilist. All are invited to participate. We have been requested to bring finger foods or desserts that can be shared during the reception after the Mass. There will be a collection during the Mass which will be directed to the Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship Fund. We are also invited to contribute theme baskets for a raffle benefiting the Scholarship Fund. Please bring your contributions to the reception area before the Mass.

The Dr. Martin Luther King Day of Service will be taking place Monday, January 20. Amy Johnson and Helen Roddy Gray are donating their services to work at Ss. Columba-Brigid Church.

The Trinity Concert Series of “beautiful music in a beautiful space” continues on Sunday, January 26, at 3 p.m. with Peter Gonciarz and Friends. Click HERE to read more about our first concert of 2014.

Attention Sodality Members ~ We will be preparing our mass mailing of Basket of Cheer raffle tickets on Sunday, January 26. If you can stay for an hour to help stuff and seal envelopes, please come to St. Charles Hall immediately after Mass. The raffle will take place at a special Mardi Gras themed coffee hour on Sunday, March 2.

2014 Calendars ~ Every year we are fortunate to have a beautiful religious calendar for the New Year provided by Bud Dick. There are extra copies available in the ushers’ pew at the break in the middle of the church if you would like one to share with your family or a friend.
