In January of this year, Blessed Trinity, the Buffalo Religious Arts Center, Corpus Christi RC Church, and First Presbyterian Church formed the Buffalo Alliance for Sacred Places (the “Alliance”) “to promote the preservation and appreciation of the art, architecture and history of Buffalo’s houses of worship.” On August 28, development efforts paid off with what the Alliance hopes will be the first of many day tours to visit the four religious sites. Judy Casassa and Mickey Dick welcomed a bus from Know How Tours of Hamburg and acted as docents for a group of 32 tourists during their time at Blessed Trinity.
